We started our home purchasing journey soon after our engagement late in 2008. It was an exciting and overwhelming time trying to plan a wedding and purchase a home while juggling our work schedules. What are we looking for? Where? What could we afford? What do we want in a  home? What are out short-term/long-term plans? All these questions and more were pondered as we started this process.

 

Fortunately for us Colleen Polillio was recommended to us as a real estate agent. She was dedicated and flexible and very perceptive of our needs and state of mind throughout the entire process. I admired her energy and dedication in showing us house after house. As first time homebuyers the process at time seemed daunting however Colleen was the steady hand that listened to our concerns and was always available for questions no matter how simple they seemed. She understood the needs of her clients.

 

Through the ebbs and flows of the home buying process Colleen remained resolute that we would find the right fit for us and was never pushy. I remember remarking to my husband how wonderful it was to work with someone that loves their job, and worked more as a partner in the process and not just a real estate agent wanting to close a sale.

 

A couple of months prior to our wedding we had decided to put our housing search on hold however Colleen contacted us to check in and mentioned that there was a new construction home that she thought might be right up our alley – and we thought it was worth a look. We absolutely feel in love with the home and we were able to take part in the process of creating our home. We were elated and although it was very hectic juggling the last minute wedding details and choosing home features - it was all worth it when we moved into our home this past January.

 

We consider ourselves fortunate to have worked with Colleen on one of the biggest decisions in our lives. She was committed and dedicated to work with us as we evolved in this process to find our perfect home and for that we are forever thankful.
